There is a material which is faster than light and it is called as 'Tachyon'.
This was discovered by an Indian scientist and he proved that the Einstein's theory is wrong.
Unfortunately no media in India covered this sensational discovery, Obviously they are busy with politics.They are also known as superluminal. Rumors are spreading that neutrino has superlunminal property. This was proposed by E.C.G.Sudharsan and team in 1962 but it is special relativity theory and many of the scientists didn't accept his theory but he some how managed to prove it theoratically.
Speed of light varies according to the medium which it travels but Tachyon will always travels with constant speed which is greater than light. This could bring a tremendous changes in the field of communication and space travel but it is still impossible to create a space mobile which travels with the speed of light. That is because of the mass energy relation proposed by Einstein. Scientists believe that this would definitely pave way for time travel. So that we can travel to future and see how we are going to destroy our mother nature.
